Lovely Paris Meet-Up

One of the best days in Paris was meeting up with S, E and A...

It was a hot and sunny day at the park and we just sat, took some photos, and chatted for hours...

I love A's camera...

Afterwards, A and I ventured off to dinner...

This was one of the best meals I've ever had (and I was impressed that A had even more of a sweet tooth than I do!)...

Merci pour une journée parfaite, S, E and A!!!

Visiting Annecy, Day 3 - Part 2

Here is Annecy's beautiful "Old Town"...

E took photos of N and I as we perched on a ledge and looked at the charming houses below...

Then we went and had the best ice cream I've ever had (Lavendar Honey, Licorice and a tiny taste of Yellow Plum)...

This photo reminds me a little bit of Venice...

This photo reminds me a little bit of Berlin...

Oh how I love old signage...I wish we had that here... :P

Thank you N+E for a trip that I would never ever forget...

Visiting Annecy - Day 3, Part 1

For my last day at Annecy, we rode our bikes...

where I stopped to take this touristy picture...

and then went to have second breakfast at this little dock...

We hopped back on our bikes and waved "bonjour" to the cows...

to then have a swim at the "secret (not so secret anymore?)" swimming spot [photo credit: N+E] ...

And of course ended up having more delightful pastries once more...

Visiting Annecy - Day 1

While I was in Paris, I took a 4 hr train ride to Annecy to visit N+E.

Here are some photos from my first day there. I feel that the beautiful scenery from Annecy reminds me of movies from the 1940's-50's...

After our bike ride around the lake, we went back to the apartment...

enjoyed a schorle or two...

while helping N make some apricot and plum crumble...
He's a master a it!

Then later on, after dinner, and watching the sun set, we had a night cap on the balcony...

Musée Jacquemart-André ~ Paris, France

Let's pretend for a moment that this is our house...where every corner is dressed in opulence, and every ceiling is painted...

One can only dream... :)

Have a happy weekend!
