Wedding - Bielsko-Biala, Polska

It's been a while since I've posted......mainly because I felt that it was taking up a lot of time and that perhaps no one is actually reading this (no, not you Chris G! xoxo). *sigh*
However, despite those sordid details, I will continue posting......afterall, the need to document outweighs the rest. :P
Here is a small recount of one of the most loveliest weddings I've been to.  Thanks S+A. :***

The Kids' Apartment - Kraków, Polska

While in Kraków, part of the gang stayed at a rental apartment which we nicknamed "The Kids' Apartment".

Needless to say, it was super, super nice....

I like how the old switches have been preserved....

Stefan, Asia and Lomo's Apartment - Kraków, Polska

My Polska adventure was a dream.

Despite the post-vacation blues, here's S+A's apartment on 35mm cross-processed slide film.  Every corner of this charming apartment represents the couple's unique and whimsical taste in art, design and literature.

Unfortunately, the pictures turned out quite dark....and do not do their apartment justice...so I must sincerely apologize.  However, this only means that perhaps I need to return to Krakow and take more pics with various film types quite soon...? ;P

Alex, Jeff, Moritz & Obie's House

It was a rainy, gloomy day yesterday but I had a very nice visit with my friend Alex and her brand new baby boy, Moritz. :)

Moritz's cozy room:

Alex made these book racks herself (she's super crafty...she can needlepoint, make intricate beaded jewelry, and anything you want out of Lego....):

Jeff's vintage camera collection:

Original architectural drawings of a Swiss cable car. This belonged to Alex's grandparents in Switzerland (please pardon the blur):

Study/sun room (I would like to call it "the observation deck" hahaa):

"Thums Up!"

Last night was one of the perfect summer nights.  The weather was lovely and we had a delicious birthday dinner for Melinda at Lahore Tikka House.

Here are some pics that I took of Melinda's birthday present before hand.  I wasn't 100% sure if this was the pattern that she had collected, but I was crossing my fingers... :

Luckily, the pattern was a match. :)

Kulfis for all!

The bike caravan, led by the tandem, proceeded to the West end for some homemade birthday cake....(erm, sorry for the blur)...

Happy Birthday, Melinda!!!! :D
