This little gem of a photography book is "Mirai-Chan" by Kawashima Kotori.

Each photo is beautifully captured and the book is perfectly brilliant...

Perhaps, I feel, in many ways I can still relate to this little girl.

I'm off to France tomorrow and will be back in 2 weeks.

"The Green Man" Group Art Exhibit - Part II

My 2nd submission is a "Skogsrå" roly poly wood chime doll.

Legend has it that a skogsrå is a Scandinavian forest spirit who appears as a beautiful woman who lures men into the woods. Often, such travelling men will then disappear - never to be seen again. While the skogsrå is beautiful on the front, her back side consists of a tail or a hollow tree trunk.

"The Green Man" Group Art Exhibit - Part I

One of the submissions I did for the show is named, "The Green Man and the Nature Spirits Entourage". It is a 5 piece nesting doll set with the following cast of characters: "The Green Man", "Elder Mother", "Lunantishee", "Tree Sprite" and the "Pillywiggin".

This Week...

I managed to complete a 2nd piece for "The Green Man" group art exhibit tonight (!!!), which I'm excited about...

And I finished another pack of Polaroids...

Taking photos of animals can be tricky, as you can see 2 very blurry wasted polas...however I am *SO* in love with this by Japanese photographer Miyoko Ihara.
