Rooftop Garden

This garden is perched high up on the rooftop where you can see a lovely view of Porto.  Walking through this garden, you can smell all the different herbs, marvel at all the fresh vegetables, watch the chickens cluck around a duck who's beautiful feathers make him look like royalty.

    Soooo beautiful!! Now I can't wait to go to Portugal myself -- booked my flight for New Year's yesterday, hooray!! I doubt there will be chicken running around then, though...

    I absolutely adore city gardens - and this one looks fantastic, with animals as well. not to mention that growing my own vegetables is one of my biggest dreams... if only I had a garden, or a terrace!

    Polly: It was so wonderful because it was so big and it was up so high, not to mention a few people were there tending to the garden. You must have a green thumb, dear P! ;)
